Our new season kicked off with a lecture on Artistic Vision by Kimberly Ducoté-Schimmel. We learned about the challenges of doing commercial photography on location, as opposed to studio. The vote was announced that we would change the schedule of lectures and competitions to make room for tutorials and critique nights designed to attract new members and improve the skills of all members. There was a lot of discussion about comments from the judges, especially their brevity when there are a lot of entries
Our second planning meeting for 2018/2019 is Tuesday, July 24th at 6:00 PM at the Milltown Public Library. We will resolve the voting from the last meeting and work on what the club will be all about in the new season.
At the June 14th, 2018 planning meeting a motion was made by Paul Eggermann and seconded by Bill Petscavage and carried with one opposing. The motion was to bring forth a vote to all paid RPS members to implement changes to our By-Laws and Rules to suspend all competitions until further notice. The motion is
