May 12 Lecture features Peter Alessandria


Raritan Photographic Society presents Professional Photographer and former Entertainment Attorney Peter Alessandria. After the 2008 Global Financial Crisis wiped out his law business, Mr. Alessandria was faced with the decision of what to do what the rest of his life. He decided to do what he loves and gave up being a lawyer to pursue a career as a professional photographer. Today he specializes in commercial product photography, corporate headshots and video, and fine art photography. During the past several years his work has won 25 awards and been featured in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Fifteen of his photos of New York City were recently featured in a 22 page spread in Lens Magazine, a monthly international fine art photography publication. He speaks, lectures, and offers workshops to amateurs and professional alike.

Join us on May 12th as Mr. Alessandria discusses his career transition from lawyer to photographer and talks about the business of professional photography.
