Sign-in Your Prints On-line
We’re introducing a new on-line sign-in procedure for print competitions. This replaces the narrow sign-in stickers you’ve been handing in with your prints on competition nights. With on-line sign-in, you register your prints on the club web site in advance of the competition night. You’ll soon see a number of advantages to on-line sign-in.
- Less congestion at the sign-in table on competition night
- Competition winners are posted on the web site much more quickly
- All of your competition scores (digital and prints) are all consolidated together on you’re My Scores page.
How do I get started?
To make this work you’ll need an account on the RPS web site. If you have already competed in RPS digital competitions, you already have an account. You don’t need to create a new one. Skip this section and move on to signing-in your prints.
If you have never created an account before, don’t worry it’s not hard. It is very similar to creating an account on sites like Amazon.com. Follow these step to create your account.
- Go to the RPS web site
- Click on the Competitions tab. All competition related material is on the Competitions tab
- Choose Register from the left hand menu
- Complete the registration form. If you’re unsure about any of the fields on the registration form consult the table below for a more detailed description of each field.
- After you click the Register button, an email will be sent to the email address you provided confirming your registration.

| Username | Choose a username that is at least 3 characters long and consists of lower case letters, digits, hyphens and underscores only. |
| Password | Choose a password that is at least 4 characters long. |
| Confirm Password | Retype your password again so we can be sure it is correct. |
| First Name | Enter your first name as you'd like it to appear on the screen during digital competitions. |
| Last Name | Enter your last name as you'd like it to appear on the screen during digital competitions. |
| Provide your preferred email address. This is the address the system will use to send you notifications. | |
| Security Question | At some point you may forget your password. Before resetting your password, the system will ask you a question and if you supply the correct answer you will be emailed a new password. Enter a question that you will always know the answer to. This question will preferably have a one word answer. A default question is provided that you can use. If you don't like that question, type in a different one. |
| Security Answer | Enter the answer to your security question. The system does not distinguish between upper and lower case characters in your answer, so "Smith" is equivalent to "smith" |
Don’t forget to make a note of your password.
Note: Your account won’t become active immediately. The web master will confirm that you are a paid up member and then activate your account. You will then receive a second email notifying you that your account is active.
That’s all there is to registration. Once you receive that second email, move on to signing-in your prints.
How do I sign-in my prints?
Previously when you signed-in your prints you filled out a sign-in sticker with your name and the print title. On-line sign-in is the same. You tell the web site who you are by logging in and then you enter your print title.
- Go to the RPS web site
- Click on the Competitions tab.
- Select My Prints ► Sign-In My Prints from the left hand menu.
- Now you will need to log in. Enter the username and password you selected during the registration process and click the Login button.
- After you log in, the My Entries page is displayed. Select the competition date and kind of competition from the dropdown lists on the My Entries page.
- Click the Add button to sign-in a print for this competition. The Sign-in Your Prints screen will open.
- Type in the title of your print and then click the Submit button. If you want to (it’s your choice) you can also upload the digital image of your print by clicking the Browse button and selecting the .jpg file that represents your print. Uploading your image now will save you having to upload your image later if you win an award.
- After you have signed-in this print you will be returned to the My Entries screen. Repeat steps 5, 6 and 7 for each print you want to sign-in.

I won an award, what do I do now?
First of all, congratulations!
We no longer photograph the prints during the competitions. Therefore, to get your award winner onto the winner’s page on the web site, you need to upload the digital image that corresponds to your winning print.
- Go to the RPS web site
- Click on the Competitions tab.
- Select My Prints ► Upload Winners from the left hand menu.
- The Upload Winners page is displayed. This page lists all the awards you have won in print competitions this season. There is a checkbox in the left column for any prints that have not been uploaded.
- Check the checkbox for a print you want to upload and click the Upload button. The Upload Print Image screen will open
- Click the Browse button and select the .jpg file that represents this award winner. Once you have selected the .jpg file name, click the Upload button.
- After the image is uploaded, you are returned to the Upload Winners page. If there are more award winners to upload, check the checkbox for the next award winner and click the Upload button.
