Jennifer WU will present the “far” section of the program.
This inspiring and entertaining presentation is a must see for anyone interested in nature and landscape photography. Jennifer will take you on a visual journey through the natural world and cover tips for nature photography. She has been a professional photographer since 1992 and is best known for her nature, landscape and night photography. She was named by Canon USA to the elite group of photographers, The Explorers of Light.
Her images, featured in numerous magazines and books, have won a wide variety of prestigious awards. Canon publishes her spectacular sky photographs in their professional camera brochures and advertisements. Whenever Jennifer is not on nature expeditions at some of the most beautiful locations in the world, she exhibits her images at nationally recognized galleries and art shows.
Jennifer strives to craft landscapes that evoke a mood, strike a chord of recognition, or trigger a sense of longing within the viewer. Depending on the image, one may sense tranquility and peacefulness or imagine evoke a feeling of mystery and vivid qualities, drawing the viewer to the subsequent images. She photographs dramatic landscapes that are at the edge of the light, the border of night and day, as she searches for exquisite and unique perspectives of the natural world.

Mike specializes in macro photography. He will explain his techniques, what he looks for and how he goes about getting his outstanding images.
He has been shooting since 2001. Since then, photography has become a full-time business. In 2006, he started offering Close-Up/Macro photography workshops and in 2008 published his first book, Tiny Landscapes.
Mike writes for Tamron’s blog, and has had articles and images published in Outdoor Photographer Magazine, Natures Best Magazine, PC Photo Magazine, Nature Photographer Magazine, Photolife, Whisper In The Woods, Michigan Game Finder, NANPA’s Expressions Books, Pure Michigan Book, and Fujifilm’s Newsletter (Cable Release). Mike has won numerous local and international awards and in 2006 was asked to join the Fuji Pro Talent Team. He is a Tamron Macro Master.
Mike shoots a lot in the swampy areas of a local park and finds many old fallen tree trunks that have lost their bark from years of lying in the swamp. He searches for interesting abstract patterns in the trunks that will provide a nice background for a main subject.
